Custom body for G&L neck

Hello, I have a 3 bolt G&L neck that I would like to put a hardtail body on. I did not realize a G&L neck and a Fender neck are so extremely different. I was thinking of having a custom body made with neck pocket but without neck mounting holes and without a bridge drilled so that way I could get the intonation right. Before I try any of this, has anyone ever put a custom body onto a G&L neck? Thanks.

Wow, I always thought the G&L necks were the same as Fender, aside from the headstock shape.
I know some of them were a 3-bolt mount, but Warmoth can omit drilling neck mounting holes if you ask them.
