  3 Items just out of the box, in the past week    … & a neck on order !  :icon_biggrin:

Ok … 1st up I had to get my dear Mum, whom I look after, a 90th Birthday present.
Ever had to by someone that age a present  :icon_scratch:
OH My what a hard task that is … besides the usual Chocolates & a Cask of Wine or a pair of Fluffy Slippers. 
Most at that age, have either had everything, or have owned everything …… Just ask Cagey  :laughing7:

Anyway....
So being the top bloke that I am  :icon_jokercolor:  & that I love her dearly.
Thought I'd get her something really very special she has never ever owned or used.

Body Spec's …
Strat body weighed in at 4lbs 9 oz, Solid Mahogany with Quilt Maple Top. Top Route. Contoured Heel.
Blue Burst front & Black Gloss Back, Natural Masked Binding.

She doesn't like getting flowers either, But I'm sure she'll like this pretty baby.

Will have 2 x Humbuckers (not sure which yet) using White Pearl Pickguard.

Standard Thin Neck, Graph Tech Black Nut, MOP, Sperzel Holes.

Raw & just amazing, this is so smooth, that I just can't believe it !!  WOW  WOW  WOW  :toothy10:

Body Spec's ….
Strat body weighed in at 4lbs 3oz, Solid Alder, High grade Quilt Maple Top.  :icon_thumright:  Rear Route. Contoured Heel.
Red Dye Top with Transparent Red Back with Black Edge Burst, Natural Masked Binding

Will have 2 x Humbuckers (not sure which yet) & will have a internal GK-3 Installed, hence No jack input hole yet.

Bought the Neck  above to go with this Red Body & dose look great together, will see thou.

I've got a heap load of bits here & so the hard part is now working out, which goes best with which.

So when I decide  :icon_scratch:  will post these in 'Work in Process'

I normally really dislike anything flame / quilt but you really made it work with that neck choice.

Also might I add that custom pickguard looks really cool too; you know you've got a good shape when it looks like something that should be a stock pickguard shape

Thats why I grabbed that Neck off the showcase (the 1st day it came on) as I thought it would be just right  :icon_thumright: which it is !
Yep be doing the Blue Strat one 1st up.
The Red Strat one is having a GK-3 internal installed so that takes more time & a bit more nerve & extra bottle of Scotch  :laughing7: .... to accomplish  :toothy11:

Still unsure about the Pau Ferro Neck on the Red Strat, dose suit it & dose look superb together ... But
It also fits in nicely & looks even better on another Strat Body just delivered yesterday, that I haven't  :glasses9:  revealed as yet.

Holy crap ..... :icon_scratch:  to many decisions to make ..
