Check this bridge out.  Looks like it can also be used as a roller bridge with a Bigsby style trem.

That's an interesting design, but it seems like the roller is only there because the roller is there. In other words, if the strings weren't going around their thumbs to get to their elbows, you wouldn't need that rear roller because there wouldn't be so much dead string length behind the saddles. Then, the saddles don't have rollers, so they're possible hang-up points. Finally, the saddles don't have individual height adjustments, so once it's set up for a particular neck or set of strings, just about any adjustment is exhausted. Although, I suppose one could argue that once it's set up for a particular neck/string set, no further saddle height adjustment is necessary.

On the plus side, it's milled out of a big hunk of solid brass, so I imagine it encourages a lotta sustain and articulation. But, that also makes it pricey.

Overall, I think I'd pass on it.

Man, that's U-GLY!! Who makes that monstrosity?

Hehe! It's is a bit industrial-looking. But, if that's ugly, what are most vibrato bridges? Especially a Floyd Rose. Thing looks like some kind of complex small animal trap  :laughing7:

Jeez, Cagey, Have A Heart!! :laughing7:

Well, truth be told, I kinda like the looks of a Floyd. But, I'm a electro-mechanical kinda guy, so complex machinery appeals to me. Still, why anyone would put one on a guitar on purpose these days is a bit puzzling. There are much simpler solutions that work as well, cost less and aren't as complicated.

No, no...I meant 'Have-a-Heart'...

Hehe! I see.

I wish I could find the pictures I took of this big ol' 'possum we caught some years back in a live trap exactly like that. My roommate at the time was actually trying to catch this cat that adopted us (well, me in particular), but we ended up catching several squirrels, a rabbit, a raccoon and finally this 'possum. Surprisingly, the 'possum did the most damage. Bait was a can of tuna fish, which shouldn't have appealed to any of those animals. But, the 'possum was so pissed that it attacked that can of tuna with a vengeance. I mean, it was wrecked. Had to have broken some teeth on it. I was surprised his face wasn't all bloody from cuts.

As it worked out, the cat turned out to be useful. Thing never bothered the squirrels, but learned to love the taste of rabbit. Never knew cats would hunt rabbits, or that rabbits could make any noise, but they definitely find a voice when a carnivore gets a hold of them. Kinda scary-sounding, actually. Had a hawk that used to take them as well, but he was just as happy to take the squirrels.
