I have been seeing these amps around town for a while now. They are made by one of the founders of Sunn amps in the sixties, Conrad Sundholm. I have to say I am very enamored with these amps. They really stand out. Just a couple of weeks ago I was at a jam session at a local pub. There were many amps being played through and when Matt Schaff played through his it was a world of difference. I have never heard an amp sound so good. It had so much personality and sounded so alive,, mmmpphh, I WANT ONE!!
So I was wondering if anyone here has has any experience with this brand of amp. I am very curious to hear a personal review. They are a bit pricey but I think it would be an amp to have for the ages.
Also are there any Sunn amp players. I have never played through one and wondered if they are as great as touted.
