Thought I'd in the spirit of Christmas and dress up the Harley.

They dont like me wearing that helment with the horns on it, on the road... "not a proper helmet" in a state that does not require helmets.  I keep telling the men in blue that its "just a funny hat" not a helmet.  They are typically not amused.  So lashed over the gauges seems like a good home for the holidays for "Ferd'nand".  Who uses the speedometer anyway!~

And that thing about not requiring helmets is really weird... But the helmet looks cute

They don't require helmets in Kansas either, until you hit the Missouri line. I passes a couple riding double at about 50mph a few days ago, no helmets on either, driver was text messaging on her cell phone.

They are!~  Thing is... even DOT approved helmets are only good to 18mph.  Sad fact.  Faster than that, and they just cant spread the G's out any more.  Its not a matter of head "breaking" but more one of inertia that is the problem.
