Chipping The Finish

Who was it that posted about their paint chipping off so easily? I looked through 10 pages of my previous posts and can't find it.

Anyway, whoever it was, I blame you! Not once in my life have I ever chipped the paint on one of my guitars. This morning I woke to find a small chip right along the natural masked binding of my guitar. I have no idea how it happened. I've hit that guitar on things before with zero problems. Yesterday, I couldn't even tell you what happened. I just woke up this morning and it was there. Dammit!!!

That makes me feel better.

To be honest, if there were chips all over the guitar I wouldn't mind. One tiny chip, right on the edge....this is gonna drive me nuts. I may have to relic it just to save my sanity.

I hadn't really thought of it before, but now that I see it, it's kind of intuitive. Natural Mask looks cool, but you do have an edge not normally exposed to wear.
