Chi-sonic pickup route option

Hey, RDLR here with yet another suggestion.  Why is the DarkStar pickup route still offered when they are no longer available?  Considering the lack of DarkStars floating around, how about a Lakland/Hanson Chi-Sonic pickup route on Warmoth bass bodies? These pickups are readily available and from all the hub-bub going on at http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f8/chi-love-club-517945/ they seem to be quite popular. 
The whole point of the DIY guitar and bass thing is to build something unique, possibly that you can't get anywhere else, so the more options the better. So while I'm at it, how come Warmoth offers tons of pickup routings for top-routed models and yet doesn't have the same options for pickguards for those same model/pickup combinations?  What's up with that?  I want to build a top routed P Bass with J pickups, but my only choice for the pickguard is a P pickup or nothing.  Come on guys, help a fella out here, will ya?

IIRC, the Darkstar is a $45 upcharge, and someone is making copies.  It's existing, why get rid of it.

The Lakland people are getting them from somewhere.

Oh, that's just it, they aren't getting them. Go to their website, there is no option or model featuring them. If you seeing them somewhere, it's existing stock.  They have burned through their reserve.  The Decade bass now features their own Chi-Sonic pickups and is offered as an option on other basses.  Hanson sell them as well bestbassgear.com, but the DarkStars are MIA.

Ah.  I knew the Hammon Eng. people were now defunct.  I figured Lakland was making them or having them made.
