Guys, my white Strat is chambered. I was playing her unplugged last night and I noticed a very resonant sound when I pick the first string at the 12th fret. You can clearly hear it ringing out inside the body. It almost has an echo taste to it. It only happens there. All other frets/strings are fine....although, to be honest, I didn't really check every single one. Anyone else notice this? I haven't noticed anything negative coming through an amp but I'll definitely be listening closer now.

If its ringing in the body, please answer it.  If its for me, tell 'em I'm "In the Village".  They'll know what it means.

Wise guys.  :icon_jokercolor:

Chambered bodies are a little more resonant by nature. Also, if your axe has a trem, it could be the springs vibrating and causing reverb like, say, the springs in a reverb tank.

I've got a chambered tele. Nothing like that ever happened to me....

I've a chambered Tele and 2 chambered J-Basses, none of them do it either.  If it's natural frequency thing, anything and everything could effect it, but everything has one.
