Thanks gents, glad you like it. Now comes a lot of planning, buying, and fitting. I can hardly wait!

It's growing on me.
I know what you mean, took me a while to decide to pull the trigger on this one. Kinda glad I did, going to be an interesting project.

Very nice.  I have been considering one of those too.  Just waiting for the right one to grab me.  What neck are you using?

Is it built yet? Pictures?
Not yet, had a bunch of stuff going on, gotta pay my school taxes, but I did get some parts, did a little design work, and picked up a case. Will post an update soon. Getting ready to order the neck.

My plan is for a Warmoth headstock, standard thin profile, probably roasted flame maple, dark rosewood or ebony fingerboard, 10"-16" compound radius, 1-5/8" white TUSQ XL nut, trapezoid or split block inlays, (without a first fret inlay), and ss6105 frets.  All specs subject to change.....

One of my favorite shows as a kid... :icon_thumright:

I used to own a '60s Casino.

I traded it for a strat about 20 years ago (it needed work on the binding and other minor issues)

I was always on the impression that it was a later 60s or early '70s one because it had more of a Gibson headstock.
I now see that it was probably a '63 which is before the headstock got that more hourglass shape.

I now see how much people are asking for one. Yikes.
