Hey guys, finally got my body and neck from UPS!
Specs:
Carved Top Tele
Swamp Ash with upper toggle
Humbucker at bridge and neck (wood mount)
Floyd with angled pocked
Tummy contour
Heel contour
Flamed maple neck with flamed maple fretboard
6505 SS Frets
Compound radius
Standard thin contour
Sorry for the shitty pics, but it's the best I can do at night. I'm very happy with both, there's a couple of grain marks on the swamp ash but that's to be expected (swamp ash is very random) but the grain is really nice in my opinion. The neck is reaaally nice, the flame hasn't really come out in the pictures, but it's very uniform and I really like the crazy grain patterns!
The finish will be natural masked binding, red stain on the top and black on the back. I'm tempted to stain the top black, sand back (leaving a black grain) and staining red on top - what do you think? Then all over in satin nitro. The neck will be finished in tung oil... simple
Unfortunately I can't afford to buy the rest of the hardware for about 2 or 3 months, but it'll be worth the wait!
