Canary Neck Strength

I was thinking about ordering a 7-string neck made out of Canary wood and was wondering how Canary wood holds up under tension.

I assume it'd be fine, but was wondering if anyone had tried it.

Absolutely. I've a decade+ old telecaster with a warmoth canary neck - no issues at all.

If I could rationalize/afford the cost, Canary is the one exotic wood I would love to try for a neck. See what I did there?

I have had a Canary neck for about a year now, and for sure my NEXT neck shall be Canary too... very stable and great sounding wood IMO
