Camphor-burl Strat Complete...

Well, it's finished...kinda looks like a couple of kittens have been using it as a launching-pad...Still not sure what I think of the aesthetics, but it sounds and plays like a dream, so it is growing on me...
      Chambered mahogany
      Black-bound Camphor-Burl top
      Canary-on-Canary slim-profile neck, 6150 frets
      Duncan vintage p-90 neck
      Duncan custom p-90 middle
      Duncan hot p-90 bridge

what you guys think 'bout this one...I'm not 100% sure yet--something weird-lookin' about it,

I'm not a fan of the Camphor burl but aside from that I think it looks great. Nicely balanced etc.

Also I really love the back of that neck. Gorgeous.

Sweet! I was never a big fan of camphor burl grain either but I really like this one. The black binding with black hardware looks good and I love the triple P-90s.  ccasion14:

I only just replied to 'just outta the box' went outside for a coffee & smoke.

Binding on a Strat looks Tops, especially Black :icon_thumright:  I got one somewhere  :laughing7:

Ahhhhh that's the whole idea of Warmoth, different woods and you get a very unique guitar.  :headbang:

Have you thought of a name yet? I don't have any suggestions, but this guitar reminds me of a jungle commando's camo backpack with black machine gun clips strapped to it.

That Camphor Burl looks like tanned flesh with a lotta bite marks in it. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Nice piece of work, in any event. I'm especially envious of that neck. Haven't seen a piece of Canary like that in a while. I'm also liking that black binding.

I think it's great, big cats running over soft ground in the savannah. The only thing I don't like is the P90 look on that modern shape. A couple of zebra HBs would be more apropo, and a good pun with the cat pawprints.
