I was wondering what's the deal with some of the Rio Grande offerings on the Warmoth site. You have to call to order them instead of just ordering them through the website?
If I decide to go the RG route and they must be ordered by phone, well then that's what it takes I suppose.

It's just that english isn't my first language and I'm not 100% comfortable with having to talk english, especially over the phone so if I can dodge that ball...  :laughing7:
I just love the 'net. Greatest thing since sliced bread.

Gregg or someone from Warmoth will have to answer the question, but if you're in a hurry, or want to order pickups on the Rio Grande website that Warmoth doesn't offer, you can always call Rio Grande direct at the number on their website: http://www.riograndepickups.com/

They have excellent customer service and if you order something that is out of stock, they build it for you and get it shipped pretty quickly - 5 days last time I was in that situation. You do not get the Warmoth dealer discount if ordering direct, you have to pay the price reflected on the website.

Don't feel bad. I spent a whole year learning French, and while at the time I could read/write it well enough to pass a test, I could never speak it to save my life <grin>

They don't stockpile pickups.  I had to wait a couple of weeks to receive mine.  I've ordered quite a few and have found them all to be without equal - 2 Tallboys, Blues/Jazz Bar P90 set, 2 Bladerunners, and 2 BBQs.  Totally worth the wait.  One thing to consider is that if you order their single coils, they require a little more depth to mount properly.  The only thing I don't like about their options is there is no Chrome cover available; you're getting nickel, which will tarnish fast.  But totally worth it.
