I wouldn't try to buy online, I'm not saying you can't find good wood there, but I've always found it nice to go to a local lumber place and look through the wood myself to find a just the right piece for the build.

You could always get a Warmoth chambered explorer  :icon_thumright:

wait, semihollow, or hollowbody? (I've always wanted to make a carved back hollowbody tele, like legit hollowbody "bending wood" shiz, none of this routing out stuff. Flame maple sides and back with a spruce top . . . burst it of course . . . mmmm, yea.  :glasses9:)

ya but i want it to be true semi hollow with f holes and everything.
f holes on an explorer?? Now that just ain't right. Was has an explorer ever done to you to deserve that?  :toothy11:

Given the shape and available room on the explorer, they might be a-holes. I'm not sure you really want to go there.

Each to their own, but not for me this one. And I love f holes, but not a holes.

dude, if you cut an f-hole styled letter "A" hole in a guitar, it'd be awesome. A real classic joke for anyone who knows the geetar terminology.
