Build a Tele Thinline for Slide

So, I’m thinking about building a simple Tele Thinline for slide purposes. Guessing I won’t have Warmoth install a nut so that I can find an appropriate one taller for this.

Anyone have any thoughts on where I can find a nut for slide?  Thoughts on the best body/neck wood?  I’m thinking something very easy to finish and maintain.

Maybe a chambered body with one pickup and one volume knob. Maybe bridge pickup?  Wonder if single coil, P90, or humbucker would be better?

My fav for slide is a P90 with a piezo blended in or a gold foil with a piezo blended in

Some thing like that should do you. Or the same thing out of metal or corian. You'll probably have to size and shape it yourself, but it's not that bad if you take your time and measure alot.
