Hey Everybody!
First of all, thanks for taking the time to read this.
I've been slowly acquiring the parts for my custom guitar. Got a thinline tele body- 2 piece bubinga back with a BEAUTIFULLY figured bubinga top. They really spoiled me on that!!! The neck is a one-piece bubinga strat neck. Also gorgeous!
It's my understanding that bubinga does not need any kind of finish, but I'd still like to put something on it that will protect the wood, and beyond that, bring out the truly lovely figuring in the top.
I don't want more than I need, preferably just some oil I can rub on the thing to keep it looking (and sounding) great. What would be best and how should I apply it?
Discuss!
Thanks!
Ryan
