Brown-to-Clear Burst Tele Has Arrived!

My brown to clear burst Telecaster body has arrived as of today!

I'm just waiting on the neck, and then I'll put it together. My photo is pretty poor due to the lighting, but I've attached the photos of it that Warmoth took for me. This is a custom built body that I had them make to my specs.

The neck (that's coming still) is a fatback Tele neck with a 3A flame Maple wood and a Pau Ferro fretboard.

Attached is a mockup of what it will look like with the neck. The hardware will be all black.

Thanks guys! I went with this top because while it is quilt maple, it almost has some flame maple looking going on with it, so it's like the best of both worlds.

I think once the neck and hardware is on, it will look fantastic. This is my first ever Warmoth build as well!

My iPhone photo doesn't do this finish justice. But I got all the hardware on today, just waiting for the pots so that I can put the wiring harness in!

Not only that, but PumpinIron, you shouldn't worry about your pictures not having as good lighting and Warmoth's. I would rather 9/10 times a photo taken on someones phone than the pictures on Warmoth's site, not saying that their bad, but that I just love seeing the depths of the bodies from other angles!

Looks like it's going to be a killer axe.

It looks more like black to clear burst in those photos, but it is indeed brown to clear. The lighting is tricky on this finish! It looks different in every picture almost, largely due to the lighting

The neck turned out just as good as I was hoping. It's a nice, fat Boatneck profile too.

I had to have the binding on it to match up with the binding on the body. Now I've got to install the tuners and get this thing all setup and dialed in.
