This sucks.. have been watching this really unique neck for almost a year in the showcase... almost ready to buy, waiting for payday, which is TOMORROW!!!
I checked if it was still there today (someone was joking he bought it this afternoon) and now it is sold!!! BOLLOCKS!!!!

now, I have to say, the title for this thread had me rolling on the floor, it is great.

OK, I have been watching a body, I want it so bad, for over a year now, but yesterday I bought a unfinished body for the next build

next year when I can afford my finished show case body, and I go to buy it and someone else bought it, can I borrow this name for a thread because if someone buys it in the mean time I will have to go bungy jumping with a 10 foot to long of a bungy chord.

just to clarify, I am obviously exaggerating here..it is not the end of the world
yeah it sucks and it was risky waiting so long anyway, but I am happy for the new owner and hope it is someone here on the forum..

it was the imbiua neck. there were two of them at first, and this one has been in the showcase for a year or so. it was pretty ugly and rustic looking, and since nobody could tell me what it feels or sounds like, made me want it even more

tough luck, I will fall in love with another neck!!

Joey, I'm on hold from buying any new Warmoth stuff until I finish:
1) My deck.  ><
2) My Coronado... I have a W JM neck for it, the bridge, pots and switches, but I can't decide what I'm doing with the finish and pickups.  I want to use this thing, so I want tones I can make use of.
3) Finish my "pink strat" twins.  I'm looking for a gilmour EMG setup on the cheap for the "angel" one, and a humbucker I like for the "devil" one.
4) My LP JR/Special.  I have the neck and the Lollar P-90s.
5) Refinish the neck on my 5-string.

Which neck was it? I saw a cool Bubinga/Bloodwood J neck, and it was gone the next day. :sad:
