Body Shapes for 24 frets

Good morning everybody,

First post! I'm planning my first Warmoth build. :)

Now that Warmoth can't offer the traditional Gibson body shapes anymore, my suggestion for the suggestion box is to replace those Gibson shapes with ones that will play nice with 24-fret necks. Looking through the customer gallery, the Soloist and the Seven-String bodies seem to be the only ones that allow really easy access to the top frets (excluding bass bodies, anyway).

Por ejemplo:

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is my suggestion!  :headbang:

with a wee bit of modification on the unfinished bodies they work fine , all mine are 24 fret

Oh wow, somehow those 7/8ths bodies escaped my notice! It had been bugging me that the 24-fret neck pickup reposition couldn't be used with a top-routed Strat, but it looks like the 7/8ths body is the way to do it. I'll see if I can find some photos around the forum, those are cute.

Greywolf, thanks for the thought. That's a good plan, but for my first build I'd rather let Warmoth handle the woodworking!  :glasses10:
