Body and neck arrived this morning

Really excited, the body and neck arrived this morning from Warmoth. Swamp ash tele, clear coat, satin finish, roasted maple neck. Just need to figure out why my pics from my iPhone won't load here.  :headbang4:

Well just realized the Fender 4th Gen noiseless are too tall for the bridge route, when I screwed it to the bridge, the bridge wouldn't lay flat, so I'm going to order some Dimarzio Area T's for it.

I agree with RGand - those pieces match so well together its almost spooky.  Sometimes roasted maple necks are hard to match with certain body finishes, but I'll have to make a mental note of this effective combo!

Yes, sorry, roasted swamp ash body, when I spoke to the gentleman at Warmoth he cautioned me on it being much darker than non roasted, so I took the chance it would be close to the roasted maple. Online I could only find Aaron playing a roasted ash with gloss that wasn’t quite what I wanted, but in seeing him compare satin/gloss in other clear finishes, I rolled the dice. In the end I’m thrilled with how it turned out.
In retrospect I would have gotten a rear rout for the control plate to show off the wood on the front better, but I’m still happy
