What the hell?

The description says the bridge pickup is a JB, but unless I'm mistaken the only SD pickups with the double bars instead of pole pieces are the parallel axis series.

As for the snake skin.... to each his own.  Minus the whole dead snake thing, it looks pretty cool to me.

It may actually be a Trembucker ....

I've got a guitar with one of the original Trembuckers ... when they were first released (early 90's).  I'm not sure when that design was renamed "Parallel Axis", but that design was indeed once called the SD Trembucker.

BTW ... he asks in his ad when was the last time you saw one of these ....

Late 80's ... for sure! :guitarplayer2:

ya, the first thing I thought of when I saw it was the David Spade inspired "The 80s called, they want their guitar back"

I know I'm mental, but I think that's totally tubular. If I had an infinite amount of money & time, and far less sense, I think I'd collect spikey heavy metal guitars instead of "the classics" - so what if Slash has 50 Les Pauls and Brad Paisley has 50 Telecasters - blah.  :binkybaby:

I love it! I've always been a fan of snakeskin guitars but that fretboard makes it even better!  :icon_jokercolor:

Would have been better served making two pair of nice boots out of that belly cut boa.... That shit will tear up being glued to wood and strummed against eventually.

Doubt I could get that into Australia with our Quarantine restrictions and being a signatory to the CITE Treaty.

Probably just as difficult as getting a tiger skin into Oz, I reckon.

Definitely an 80's throwback.

If it's like any of the snakeskin boots I've owned, it has to be kept moist with a conditioner. Or else it dries up and just falls apart, definately was cool 20 yrs ago tho.....
