blended wiring for a strat

Has anyone tried a blended wiring schematic for a strat where tone pot #2 is used to blend the tone from neck / middle  and bridge / middle?

I tried but personally didn't care for the result and rewired back in a standard harness, but give it a shot, you might like it....
