Doughboy Hero Member Messages 1,079 Dec 3, 2015 #9 I actually changed the pots over to 250s & it sounds much warmer. I think SS frets tend to make guitars a tad too high endy for me. They last forever & feel great, but nickel sounds warmer imo. Changing over to 250k pots helped a lot.
