black grain filler with swamp ash ?

hello,  im currently awaiting my first warmoth and im planning out how i want to finish my swamp ash jazzmaster.  i want to use a blue transparent finish and i was wondering if i used a black grain filler would i be able to see alittle of the blue finish. please forgive if this is a horrible question thanks for looking -kasey

This subject was covered by Tonar or Jack the Hack. Do some research and check it out. If my memory serves me it was trans blue and blue filler. Same principles for black under trans blue....Good luck

You planning on using dye, or shooting a blue transparent toner?
