Binding Showcase Necks

Does anybody know if Warmoth will put binding on necks in the Showcase, or is it too late at that point?

Best to email / phone them anyway, as you just never know.
I now know that they will attack a strat headstock into a Warhead  :icon_thumright: .... at a cost of cause.

Yeah, I'm thinking they won't do it, too. But, it's too late to call, so I thought I'd ask here in case somebody's done it.

I believe the workflow is something like:


1.  Attach the fingerboard to the neck blank
2. Rout the binding channel along the fingerboard edge
3.  Cut fingerboard slots
(maybe 2 and 3 are reversed, but no big whoop)
4. Install binding
5.  Radius the fingerboard
6.  Install frets


I'm not sure whether shaping the back of the neck precedes or comes after shaping the fingerboard radius, but again, no matter. 
If I'm close to correct - at least with regard to whether shaping the fingerboard radius comes after installation of binding - you're prob'ly out of luck.

Yes, I have called to inquire about your exact question.  And yes, the answer is no.
It's too late in the game to add the binding.  I wish it was so, but it ain't...

Now, back to the plotting and planning...

Reason I ask is I want bound necks to go on a bound body I have and a body that's going to be bound soon. It's a pricey option, especially if you want stainless frets, so it would be nice to get something discounted out of the Showcase to start with.
