Almost done, just waiting on a new stereo jack to fit my jack mount. Then I can wire Billy up....Still up in the air with the pup rings, I kinda like it nekked...But I kinda like the chrome rings too.... :hello2:

If I do decide to use them I'm not going to screw them to the body. Sice the pups will be hard mounted I can just use some longer screws thru the holes that are normally supporting the pups...

+1001 - I love chrome rings but I too think that BB looks better without the extra bling.  Have you considered exotic wood pickup rings?

With those p'ups, go with those rings.  Rickenbackers have chrome rings and a big tailpiece and they look very classic and appropriate w/out being overly blinged.  I don't care for the wood rings and overly wooded guitar accents.  That's too much of a good thing IMO.

I thought about the wood rings, but to me in this instance they're just not the right fit aesthetically...
