Well my Billy Bo project is in effect, body is being made should have it in about 2 weeks. Got the bridge and tail piece in today, now I need to order the neck.... :headbang1:

Body is black korina
Top is purple heart.w creme binding
Neck will be purple heart and ziricote... :icon_biggrin:

Nope, no floyd. No matter how many mock ups I did, it just didn't fit. Besides the Rev. Willy G. isn't a floyd guy, so I didn't want to disrespect the Rev.... :icon_biggrin:

For what my two cents are worth (quite a bit less than two cents, I suspect), I'd say go with the TV Jones. Active pickups don't strike me as terribly Willyesque, and I don't think they'd look quite right on that body. But hey, it's your guitar, so more power to ya. Plus I reckon it'll look pretty awesome either way.  :icon_thumright:

Yes I originally got the Swingmaster tail piece for this, but it's a bit to cheap looking. The one I just bought is heavy and better looking I think. I may eventually get a real Gretsch tail piece with the "G" on it.... :icon_biggrin:
