bb preamp pedal and power amp

hi,

i was wondering if it would be safe to use a bb preamp pedal or any other boost pedal in front of my rocktron voodu preamp and my marshall 20/20 power amp.

my concern is that the boost pedal would drive the rocktrom preamp to much and damage it.

has anyone ever attempted the same with good results?
