As always, the Warmoth parts were all top quality & I'm VERY impressed with the Dimarzio Injector pickups. :hello2:

How about some nice close up shots of that quilt :icon_biggrin:
(The quilt looks similar to my Black Strat Quilt)

I wanted a single coil that could balance with the output of the Air Norton in the bridge, but still sounded like a single coil, minus the hum.
I wasn't expecting too much from the Injector, as I thought it would be too high output to sound like a genuine single coil, but I was wrong. It sounds like a tight, fat single coil with plenty of high end.
I put an Area 67 in the middle, so when you combine the two, it sounds totally strat like with a ton of spank, but still tight, fat & with a good amount of output.
I think the Injector is the best noiseless high output single coil out there. Kudos to Dimarzio & Paul Gilbert.ccasion14:

+1. If more people tried the Area-series pickups, they'd think twice about "boutique" pickups.

Interesting.
But wanting to compare the output with a fender o s.duncan single, the injector is like....?
Bruno said:I have a set of Duncan SSL-1 (single-traditional), Fender Texas Special CS (idem) and Suhr V60LP (idem), in output ascending order.
If you've heard this pups, how you position injector pu with these?
