Bass suggestions

I've been playing bass the last couple months and I have many ideas for a future build with Warmoth parts. I realized the options for basses are lesser than those for guitars, probably because of popularity. In any case, a few suggestions for 4 string basses:

Fender has been using the 1.62"nut size lately in most of their Precisions except the vintage reissues. I find it the perfect size between the narrow 1.5'' of the Jazz and the 1.75'' of the old Precisions. I believe this "modern" size nut matches the Warmoths modern way approach (steel/graphite rods) to the vintage type neck construction.

In the body builder when I choose top routing there is not an option for a side jack. Either in the precision pickguard or in the jazz control plate the holes can be used for more knobs or switches and there is a need for side jack. Warmoth is offering it in the top routed strat so the basses should not be left out.

I'd like to see more bodies with the chambered option, especially the Dinkys J/P and the Custom T. It will take off weight from the body and it will allow more sound options.

I know it's almost impossible now for Warmoth to offer another back profile, it took years to add a second but the assymetric contour and specs for the deluxe 5 would be a great option for 4 string basses with dimensions between the standard and slim.

More info on the site. For example, a pic with perimeter lines showing the differences between the different P-bass shapes would be good like the Standard/Dinky Jazz bass pic. Same for pickguards, I have not understand if any precision pickguard will fit any precision shape or just the one with the same name. Also, in the body builder it would be good at least the P & J bodies to be seen while the build takes place like the strat & tele.

More finishing options. This is for all guitars/basses. I know I can email the company but it's important and will actually sell more if all the options are in the body builder. Why not allow one color for the top and another for the back for example?

The side jack is something that can be requested even if it isn't in the builder.

Obviously it would be ideal if everything was in the builder, but with W people should know they shouldn't assume something isn't available just because it isn't in the builder/configurator. Sometimes you just have to ask.

I didn't think anyone remembered the Grabber bass, then I see they made a Grabber II in 2009.
I had a used Grabber back in the late 70s

Well this is quite an old thread.

I hereby request a body similar to that of Devo's Gerald Casale's custom bass that he used in 1979-1980.

The body was red and shaped either to look phallic or like a cross. Jerry included Jazzmaster pickups, two white knobs (Unsure of what they did, but with Devo, who the hell knows?), and he attached the neck of his EB-3 to it.

Here's a picture. Jerry's on the far left.
