I bought a Warmoth custom baritone Strat replacement neck last year. It plays and sounds great on the Strat body I chose for the project. My only complaint is that the truss rod adjustment is at the heel of the neck, under the fretboard shelf. It's absolutely impossible to adjust it with out detuning the strings and removing the neck. It's a royal pain in the nether cheeks.
As far as I could tell when I ordered the neck, there was no option for a truss rod adjustment nut in the headstock with the baritone neck. It looks like that's still the case (but feel free to straighten me out if I'm mistaken).
If that really is the case, is there some reason (I mean, based on the laws of physics) that the baritone neck has to be of the heel-adjust type? It sure would be handy to be able to get to the adjusting nut without removing the neck.
Thanks!
