We are now announcing the August 2015 Guitar of the Month contest! August's contest will be "Owner/non-professionally Finished" and requires at least a Warmoth neck or body to qualify.
Please read the GOM rules, which have been refined, with some slight changes, and are posted in a sticky in this forum area.
Submissions must be sent, to uwfgom@gmail.com, and contain two images no greater than 1024x768, along with your description and details of the instrument. Send your submission in plain text email. Your photos must be attachments to the email. Your unOfficialWarmoth Forum user name must be included in the body of the email.
In turn, your images will posted to this message, which is August's submission thread.
Submissions will be accepted from now until August 7th, so get your cameras clicking!
As usual, discussion about the submissions can take place below.
Please do not post additional photos in any replies to this thread. Links to other UW threads or external sites are fine. Links will not be included in the entry descriptions.

Tele body, Owner Finished by covering in laced Deer Hide (Buckskin) with beaded rosette, dentaliam shells.
Pickups; Neck/GFS Neo Vin 7, Bridge: locally custom wound "Bari-Twang" humbucker by John Carlsen Jr (www.carlsenguitar.com)
Electronics: 500k Push/pull Vol. pot (coil tap/bridge), 500k Tone pot (Push/Pull=Phase) with .022 Sprague orange drop cap, 3 position Tele p/u selector switch.

Wilkinson 'Half-Moth' XII
Body:
Guitarbuild.co.uk 2-piece swamp ash Strat body. Routed for vintage trem but converted by me for Gotoh 12-string bridge.
EMG 89 with toggle for 'single coil' mode and standard volume and tone.
Strat pickguard (that had the pickup hole in the wrong place) hacked into just a control cavity cover.
Recessed trem cover and battery box.
Finished in Wudtone 'Surfer Girl' with silver highlights.
Neck:
Warmoth canary/pau ferro '65 12 string.
6105 frets.
Graph Tech nut.
Generic (Sung-Il?) chrome locking tuners.
Laser-cut acrylic Wilkinson logo.

Stratocaster style shape, with HSH pickup routing, recessed Schaller Floyd, one volume, one tone, and two pickup selector switches. Black hardware, including a custom neckplate by DangerousR6. The control cavity cover matches the lam top and accent line.
Warmoth Indian Rosewood neck with Macassar Ebony fretboard. Stratocaster headstock, SS6150 frets, no inlay, standard thin contour, Floyd nut and Schaller tuners.
