I have been known to poke into a few odd areas, and I can't help but notice some really lovely "celluloid" for sale from across the Pacific... like:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/400433294380?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
and
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Multicolor-Shell-Celluloid-Guitar-Head-Veneer-Shell-Sheet-/160970673134?pt=Guitar_Accessories&hash=item257a998bee
and
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-plate-28-X19-celluloid-green-pearl-little-flower-decorate-inlay-materials-/121138998575?pt=Guitar_Accessories&hash=item1c34726d2f

And it wouldn't surprise me to find that "differences" in environmental concerns are why American celluloid ain't what it used to be (I suspect it ain't AT ALL, really). And certain luthieriey joints tout their Italian celluloid, but add the Sopranos surcharge, for sure. Go ahead! Poke "celluloid" into "guitar builder stuff"
http://www.ebay.com/sch/Guitar-Builder-Luthier-Supply-/47067/i.html
and see what I mean. Hmmm.

You know what Sheryl Crow said...If it makes you happy... :laughing7:

Sheryl Crow says a lot of things that make you wonder if she was dropped on her head as a baby.

Pretty girls are fungible. Of course, I like 'em pretty, but they gotta have a brain or I'll just get a cat.

Marc just finished this a week ago. Spitfire TORTZ, by Marc Townsend. Runs around $100 a guard, but if you believe in pretty TORTZ for all the good little boys and girls, it's worth it.
