Hey I'm new to this and its going to be my first build so be nice haha ! Basically i ordered a custom neck and chose not to have it finished by warmoth because i wanted to try in myself. So basically i just wanted to know do warmoth seal all the necks before sending them out. That way i can just light sand so the first coat will stick ?

It depends on the wood.  Many will need grain filling before paint/finish gets started.
What type of wood did you select?
While I'm at the question phase, tell us everything.  What make, headstock, back profile, nut type/size, frets (you did get stainless steel right?), inlay, radius.
We love guitars here and the more information you provide, the better.

Warmoth pro construction Tele neck and headstock, birdseye maple neck, ebony fingerboard, 5/8 nut, 10-16 radius, no frets, no inlays !

Maple usually doesn't need a lot of prep, it will however absorb your finger oils like a sponge if you handle it much without putting a hard finish on it.  Are you going to make this fretless or are you going to put your own frets on? (kudos if you're doing the work yourself either way)
A popular, effective, easy to apply option (if you aren't going to shoot poly or nitro) is Tru-Oil.  There are over9000 posts on it, search around you'll see.

Im going to leave the board fretless as i've always wanted one. I have been reading up on tru-oil on here and other sites but I've always love the look of nitrocellulose on tele necks. If i just start with a coat of tinted lacquer on the neck as it is to get the desired finish. Then sand any imperfections out and start adding coats of clear lacquer until i get the glossy finish i want then buff out will that work ?
