Arctic White Teledeluxe Neck Install and Assembly

Here's the neck gap, which resulted in me bringing the git to a guitar tech.  The problem is that Fender Mexico did not fully ream out their body bolt holes.

OK, got the git back from the luthier.  The body mates perfectly with the neck.  I'm going to let it sit over night to warm up (it's darn cold up here) and get used to my house.  In the meantime I'm putting on the keystone tuner buttons.

Well ... when I went to install the last tuning button the screw provided in the package was too short.  Darn!  I now get to call hipshot and ask for a screw ... hoo rah for me!

Called Hipshot and they are sending me a new screw! :headbang:

Played the guitar with the new Wenge neck this morning, not at full volume as everyone was asleep.  The change from a rosewood / maple neck is subtle, but there is a definite change, like a welcome layer of throatiness and a slight increase in sustain (or maybe it's the bass notes lingering longer).  There's more resonance, plus bass.  I can see why bass players love Wenge
