Anyone with experience finishing roasted swamp ash

I am contemplating another build with roasted swamp ash body.  From look of things it darkens considerably even with clear finish.  I am thinking of Watco Danish Oil Natural Finish.

For those who have done so, what finish have you used?  Filler?  How did you prepare the body?

would it be any different than finishing regular Ash? most ppl here seem to say to grain fill it.

No experience here but yes, darker is correct.  I had the W finish a RSA in vintage tint. The result was darker than normal, almost to transparent brown (as anticipated).
