Anyone have a Walnut Tele that can tell me if there is any noticable higher pitch than Swamp Ash. I like the look of Walnut but keep backing down from doing a Walnut Tele when I look at the "Tone O Meter" for the wood which shows it way brighter then swamp ash

I have a walnut superstrat and I would say that acoustically it is quieter than ash or alder and has a softer attack but a long sustain. The eq curve is similar to ash.  This is with a wenge neck and ebony fretboard, and maple cap on the walnut.

On a side note, all of the materials on that guitar are dense, but walnut is definitely a contributor to it's heavy weight.

I've never played a walnut solid body, but scientifically they are about the same with swamp ash being heavier.

They are more alike than alder and swamp ash and I can't discern a difference between the two sonically, though I can tell a difference between mahogany and, alder or swamp ash.

I have walnut furniture in my house and it's no heavier (or less) than oak or cherry, though I find Teak and Mahogany heavier.

The neck will have more of an impact on your sound.

If you like the look, I say go for it.

Wood is like 5% of the guitar tone, AT THE BEST, probably less... If you like the look, go for it...
