I've recently just started a music blog (http://themastertapes.tumblr.com), and I'm curious what I have to do to get more traffic. I've got a writer in Portland, OR and Jackson, MS, as well as a couple here in BHam. I'm curious if some of you could check it out, as well as get some tips and such from those that have their own.

Most hits I ever got was when I got the Seymour Duncan twitter account to retweet a link to my blog. It lasted one day though.

You just have to put new content up every day and get people to talk about it.

Get a fresher blog design--go to Wordpress--with larger images and wider posts.  Get your SEO worked out properly.  Comment like crazy on other peoples' blogs.
