Yes, they are low on it. the body wood they do have is less than inspiring, and they've been out of neck wood for ages.

I think I've just posted a remarkably similar thread gents. Mods please feel free to delete mine if you so wish. I go to the builder every day, like an orphan at the gates of the rich man's house saying "please sir, can I have some SG?" and the rich man spits on me and knocks me to the ground

Lack of BK is robbing me of my will to live.That and my neck still being "in progress." Still within the time frame though so I just have to wait.

I honestly  wouldn't mind the plainer BK if they had the neck to match it.

right now I'm in between Mahogany/mahogany or mahogany/maple

fully painted.

Well you like flash bang guitar finishes AGWAN, but me, I like it simple so the wood has to stand up on its own looks-wise. As you say, the choice isn't great atm. Comes with having a healthy business I spose!
