Another Chambered Body / Laminate Question

Newbie here - first i've gotta say that this is a great board. I've been poking around for a while and it's all just great stuff. But i haven't quite found this topic discussed exactly, so ...

I want to build a Tele. So you'll know what i'm after, I like the tones of Keith Richards, Ry Cooder, Lowell George, Bonnie Raitt, etc - in my mind, it's a very smooth, full mid-range as opposed to twang. I'm thinking of a Lindy Fralin noiseless P-90 for the neck and a Fralin Split-Blade in the bridge and i prefer heavier strings (11's) and a maple neck.

That being the case, while looking at the Warmoth choices i became interested in the chambered body because of the claim of "fatter sound and more sustain". I'm wondering if the chambered bodies are more sensitive to humidity levels than solid bodies (as acoustics are)? Also, does the choice of a laminate top have more effect on chambered than the solid bodies (which, i understand from other posts, is minimal). Lastly, is there any concern for unwanted feedback?

Thanks in advance to all who answer and to all who have posted before - i've already learned a lot on this board.

I think that the general consensus that I have heard on this forum regarding the chambered bodies is an increased resonance in the wood itself that does NOT get picked up by your pickups and sent to your amplifier. As cool as it is to feel the wood vibrating, the chambered bodies most redeeming quality is one of weight reduction rather than tone improvement.

Had a chambered strat body and as somebody else said the biggest plus was the reduced weight. It was awesome! Still sounded as down and dirty as any other guitar I've owned. Had a Dimarzio Super Distortion in it and it never gave me any feedback at all. And it survived in my room when my house's air conditioning quit working one summer during a 100° spell, and once when the heat went off during the winter and the house hit around 50° or 55°. No problems at all!

Yeah, I have a few here that have gone through some of the same kinds of changes this year. I never expected the bodies to have a problem (which, of course, they didn't), but I was concerned about the necks. No problems, though. They're all the "Warmoth Pro" design with the double-acting truss rods, and they all stayed as true as Starrett gauges.

I built a chambered body tele ( the big open chanbers , not the channels)  it does open up the sound an allow it to be fuller .  It has Texas Specials  but the P90's would be a great choice
