Announcement: Migrating to new servers.

As regulars here know, Unofficial Warmoth has been experiencing slow-downs recently. In an effort to fix this we will be moving the site to new servers.

During the next 24-48 hours the site may be sluggish, unresponsive, or just plain dead.....after which we expect a full recovery.

Thanks everybody for being patient. We hope to have things running better than ever soon.

Brilliant!  However it's pushing two weeks and this forum gets slower by the day.  Not much better than the solutions being posited to the Syria situation.

Guys, seriously - give me admin access to the database and to the forum software, and I will fix it. 39 seconds to create a page will not be fixed by moving servers. It's a database issue, most likely. Take a backup first if you don't trust me.

I posted a quick update in the site slowdown thread, but I thought I'd stick something in this one as it's sticky.

We have successfully completed the migration (apologies for the delay on getting it done, but we had to make sure it was done properly with minimal down time).

If you are experiencing any issues that could be related to the migration, please let me or one of the other Admins know so we can address the issue.
