Animated avatars

Can anyone tell me what the maximum size in kb for avatars on this forum is? I've tried to upload an animated one and I get an error message saying it's too big? It's only 40kb...

try hosting it else ware, rather than uploading. the site is having troubles with uploads.

I'm wondering if the Admins here wouldn't mind upping the maximim size of the avatars to something like 100x100 or 120x120. 65x65 is awfully small.

Because large avatars are extremely annoying.

They don't need to be super huge and take up half a page. It would be nice to be able to see what some of them are though.
