Alnico 4/5 in pearly gates neck?

I have a pearly gates neck i don't really love because of its too loose in the bass and sounds rather bad split. I was thinking of using it in a hsh build with a bare knuckle true grit center and a 59 custom hybrid bridge. I have both al4 and al5 magnets lying around, would it make a noticeable difference to swap the original al2 magnet with one of these? Never tried messing with pup magnets.

My experience with magnet swaps is that the change is subtle. That said the a4 or a5 should sound tighter. One of my builds has an a4 Seth Lover in the neck that sounds great

I have done this before, there is a bit of change, but the wind and wire gauge remain dominant.

When I have done swaps, I found A4 is similar to A2.  It's just a slightly brighter balance, but still sound quite similar.  I think it could work quite well in the pearly gates.

A5 will be a more obvious change compared to A2.  I expect it will actually sound like a different pickup if you use the A5.
