This was designed by a member for a member on another forum I'm on. Gets it tomorrow. 
I've known about this design for a while now, as I saw the proto type for this earlier on.

Gotta hand it to the owner. That's one unique instrument.  :icon_thumright: Very cool idea and execution. Not a fan of the top, though. I suck and prefer solid finishes.  :help:

It's an upside down, reversed clone of the Gibson USA guitar (after california falls off). Or perhaps a rightside up copy if the gulf coast fell off. They will probably sue now.

All else not considered ( :glasses10: ) is this the git you're speaking of?

Interesting I suppose...  A stripper guitar would be of more interest honestly (I'm as big of a US near jingoist than anyone, but not the guitar - It would be like putting a NASCAR decal on a crucifix...)

Something tells me that if Leo had made bodies with that shape, more people here would like it. But then again, Leo more or less followed the lines of earlier guitars, and might have had less acceptance had he broken those earlier style lines.
