Planning on doing an all Bordseye maple Jazzmaster. I want to make it the classiest and coolest jazzmaster I can conceive of. I was thinking of doing tortoise binding, but I'm not sure if it'll look good on the birdseye, if it'll take away from the natural beauty, look tacky etc. anyone have any insight on this?

Also, I love the idea of turquoise dots on the fretboard, but I'm not sure if that'll look good with the tortoise pickgaurd I plan on using. This is a side note but if you have any better suggestions, let me know

Thank you!

Warmoth don't make a hollow body jazzmaster, maybe if chambered, otherwise I think it would be to heavy, but would look eyes popping.

Love me some birdseye! I think the tortoise binding would look nice. Warmoth's tortoise binding is fairly dark and not as crazy a some tortoise can be.

I think both would be good. Though it might be cool to match the pickguard to the inlays or the pickup covers. Do they still have the tortes shell inlays? If the inlays are dark then black pickup covers, if light then white or chrome pickup covers. This is fun.
