Really fine-point tip on a solder iron? Or is that too hot?

-Just wondering watcha use to to do that...
I use a heating unit made for woodburning, which allows me to regulate the heat. The ''pens'' have different shaped tips for different burns. I use mainly a scalpel-like tip for fine lines & detail, and a tip called a 'writer' for wider lines and dots. Progress pics will resume in a coupla days when I get back from Cape Cod and 3 days fly fishing for striped bass  :icon_thumright: :toothy10: :icon_thumright:

I didn't know you were actually this guy:

That's fantastic. I'd have to find somewhere else for that support beam, but still bad ass to have your own jam space. I really should rent a place out here and make my own little practice/YouTube studio.

I was just talking about doing this on a rear routed unfinished Tele body. Kind of like Dave Kilmister

I'd just have to figured out a theme or design as well as the process and if I could do it myself or find someone.

This one is without doubt my favorite and Updown is right; it just has that sweet natural look  :headbang1:

I think what's really cool about it is, it looks "old" without just being a beat-to-death new guitar. Like something you'd find in an old mineshaft or tomb or something.

I hadn't looked at it that way, but you're right. It does have that sort of vibe to it.
