Almost January, and out riding... :headbang1:

If I had a bike, I could still be out riding even in Michigan. It's been remarkably mild up to this point.

I've been looking at scooters lately, having found out you can get some pretty good-sized ones such as the Suzuki Burgman 650.  I can't deal with the gears or the weight of a real bike any more, but the scooters have CVTs so there's no clutch to deal with, plus you generally sit lower so getting on/off and keeping it upright is possible for me.

I rode my bike year around before I sold it (was out of work and it was my most liquid high value toy, also least irreplaceable)

You can dress for cold, but it's hard to dress for deer, and unfortunately, cold and short daylight hours go hand in hand.

My bikes are my most treasured, and I'd have to sell the old lady first before my bikes... :toothy12:

I meant vs guitars. If i decide I want another KLR, it's just a bike. If I sell one of my favorite guitars, it's gone forever and I can play a hundred hardtail strats and not find another one just like it. But vehicles are interchangeable, and consumable commodity items in my book.

Oh no, bikes have a personality all their own. I've owned many and no two are alike. Even bikes of the same model and year are individuals, for a short time my brother and myself owned identical bikes, but they were most definatley individuals... :icon_biggrin:

Danger is correct, i've owned 50 plus motorcycles, several the same model and year, all different, just like guitars
