BassVI neck ordered! 

This one is going to be involved.  I ordered the maple/ rosewood neck nekkid: no frets, nut or inlay.
I want to do a pearl block inlay.  Maybe I'll do the fretwork myself, maybe not.  I'll see where my courage ends up by the time I've got the fretboard finished.
Then: carve a body out of (probably) mahogany.  Ken's got my pickup order.
Reluctant Builder, I blame you!!
Now, I'd better go get the pearl.

Paua abalone heart.  CITES still lets us import that into the US.  Red Ab: not.
