Hello! So i have recently received my Warmoth parts. My guitar is a mahogany Soloist with a Mahogany neck and ebony fretboard. The pickup routes are for a Seymour Duncan P90-1(neck) and Seymour Duncan Invader(Bridge). In the bridge( this is the important part) i have a recessed wilkinson tremolo route. Now the bridge i ordered, from Warmoth, Is a Gotoh Wilkinson Tremolo VS100. When i first put the bridge in the route I immediately noticed that the bridge did not fit very well. After lots of research i was comforted to find that it shouldnt be a very big problem. However i still cant get over the possibility that there may be a big problem.

Enclosed is a picture of the rout and bridge and the bridge in the route. BTW im a lefty so it will appear backwards.

Please comment with any views/opinons, advice or any information as to whether this is a big deal, a minor dificulty or just something that doesnt even matter.

That's a bit concerning. I would do a briefly set up the guitar and see if the saddle needs to be pulled back that far. Hopefully not, makes me worry a bit because my next build does have that recessed option. If its still too far back, time to break out the chisels.

Put some strings on there to counter-balance the springs and see where it sits. The recess is more to allow you room to sharp the strings excessively than to hide/lower the mechanics. If you still have interference when it's properly strung, then you can take some pictures and bitch at Warmoth.

Exactly.

When strung it is a non-issue.

Sorry I don't have good pictures of it, but I have the reccessed route on my 8 Ball strat and it works like a charm.
