Adding Headstock Veneer

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I can't find a way to add a headstock veneer to a custom neck on the website. In fact, I can't even find a way to order it, if I were to let them assume I want it on the neck I'm ordering. Is there a trick to that, or is that just the way things work?

Is the neck on showcase? If so I don't think they'll add a veneer... perhaps will if it's a angled headstock, but I don't really think so

This isn't the neck you're looking for...

No, and I didn't think they'd add it to one from there. I'm talking about a custom-built neck. I want a Koa neck (and ebony 'board), but a curly (flame) koa headstock veneer.

I guess I'll have to charge up the cellphone...

That's fine if you're in the US! How about us Warmothphiles from overseas??? I say make peghead veneer and matching the finish to the the body an option in the online builders    :rock-on:

They do it:

Yes, I saw that. There just isn't any way to add it in the neck builder for some reason. There is a neck in the showcase that's nearly perfect, but it's already fretted for some reason.

Warmoth Pro w/ Koa neck meat, Pau Ferro fingerboard, curly Koa headstock veneer, clear gloss finish, etc. They have a great price on it, too. But, I don't want those frets. Don't particularly want that nut, but I'd have lived with it if I could have gotten it fretted my way. It's frustrating, because it's going to cost me $200 more to have one made that's almost exactly like it because I'll be custom ordering. I already called and asked if they'd change frets on this one, but no go. I don't blame them - there's nothing wrong with these frets. But, I've got my heart set on some gold ones, or at least stainless steel.
